Jeremy Scott, known for his previous collaborations with Adidas including the "Wings", just had his latest creation yanked before they even hit the shelves. Why? People didn't really like the cuffs attached to the shoe, relating them to racial slavery. Adidas just issued the following statement: The sneaker "is nothing more than the designer Jeremy Scott's outrageous and unique take on fashion and has nothing to do with slavery...We apologize if people are offended by the design and we are withdrawing our plans to make them available in the marketplace."
